Nathan Sideboard
A beautiful and rare mid-century teak sideboard by Nathan, dating from around 1960. This particular model features those lovely curved front edges that Nathan only produced for a short period, giving it a softer, more sculptural look compared to their later, sharper profiles. It’s a really striking piece with clear Danish influence, but still very much rooted in British mid-century design.
The layout is wonderfully practical: three smooth-running drawers on one side and a spacious double-door cabinet on the other, offering plenty of storage without overwhelming a room. The teak has a rich, warm tone, and the whole piece sits on elegant tapered legs that keep it feeling light and refined.
Nathan were one of the standout British makers of the era, well known for their craftsmanship and their ability to blend Scandinavian styling with solid, durable construction. Pieces like this have become increasingly sought after for exactly those reasons — they’re functional, beautifully made, and timeless.
This sideboard has been well cared for and shows only light, honest signs of age, adding to its vintage character rather than distracting from it. Ideal for a dining room, hallway, or living space where you want something both useful and full of mid-century charm.

We love our new bureau. Emily was so helpful, sending us lots of photos before purchase and she kept us up to date with delivery. It was a seamless service. Highly recommended, will definitely use again. Thanks Emily.
Emily is one of the nicest most accommodating people I have ever dealt with. Emily sourced a perfect G Plan sideboard for us which we struggled to find elsewhere. The care and attention to detail is also very evident.
Absolutely delighted with my purchase. Emily was great to deal with and the whole process was very smooth. Can't recommend highly enough.
