Nathan Sideboard

A beautifully proportioned Mid Century sideboard by Nathan Furniture from their sought-after Citadel range, dating to the 1960s. Crafted in richly figured teak, it has a wonderful warm tone with striking grain running across the top and drawer fronts. The long, low proportions and elegant tapered legs give it a timeless Scandinavian-inspired look while offering excellent storage.

The layout is both practical and versatile, with three central drawers flanked by spacious cupboards on either side. The top drawer features its original partitioned cutlery insert, freshly relined and divided into four compartments. Each cupboard has a fixed internal shelf, making it ideal for storing crockery, glassware, records or everyday essentials. The piece features solid teak recessed handles, quality dovetailed drawer construction and all the craftsmanship Nathan Furniture became renowned for.

This sideboard has been fully restored throughout and finished in Odie's Oil, bringing out the natural warmth and beauty of the teak while providing a durable, natural finish. It is presented in excellent restored condition. There is one very light ring mark visible on the top which remains despite restoration, but it is subtle and in no way detracts from the overall appearance or enjoyment of the piece.

All drawers and cupboard doors run smoothly, and the sideboard retains its original blue Nathan Furniture label along with its Grange of London retailer's label, confirming its authenticity and provenance
