Nathan Furniture Tallboy
A beautifully proportioned mid-century tallboy by Nathan Furniture, dating from the 1960s.
Tall and relatively narrow, it’s a particularly useful piece where storage is needed without taking up too much floor space. Six spacious drawers provide plenty of storage, each finished with a pair of recessed handles, with contrasting sculpted teak handles to the upper drawer. The piece sits neatly on elegant solid teak tapered legs.
Nathan Furniture is well known for its quality British-made furniture, combining practical design with the clean lines and considered detailing associated with mid-century design.
The tallboy is in very good vintage condition. The top has been stripped and refinished with Odie’s Oil to enhance and protect the natural grain. There are some minor age-related marks consistent with its age, but nothing significant.
