A striking piece of British mid-century design, this original G Plan Librenza room divider was designed by E. Gomme in the late 1950s and showcases the clean lines and understated elegance that define the era.
Crafted from beautifully grained afrormosia, the contrasting ebonised shelving creates a bold yet timeless look. Cleverly designed to combine style with practicality, it offers open shelving for display, an upper cabinet with sliding doors, two drawers (including the original removable cutlery tray), and a spacious lower cupboard with an adjustable shelf.
Whether styled as a bookcase, cocktail cabinet, vinyl station or simply as a beautiful display unit, this versatile piece can be positioned against a wall or used as a freestanding room divider, looking equally impressive from either side.
It remains in lovely vintage condition with only the light, age-related character marks you would expect from an authentic piece of this age.
