1960s Elliotts of Newbury Extending Teak Dining Table
A beautifully designed British mid-century extending dining table by Elliotts of Newbury, dating to the 1960s.
With its clean lines and elegant tapered legs, this table reflects the Scandinavian influence on British furniture design during the period. The beautifully figured teak top brings warmth and character, while its compact proportions make it particularly suited to smaller dining spaces.
The clever extension mechanism features leaves discreetly stored beneath the main tabletop, which slide out from either end to create additional dining space when required. Comfortably seating four when closed and up to six when extended, it offers an excellent balance of practicality and timeless design.

We love our new bureau. Emily was so helpful, sending us lots of photos before purchase and she kept us up to date with delivery. It was a seamless service. Highly recommended, will definitely use again. Thanks Emily.
Emily is one of the nicest most accommodating people I have ever dealt with. Emily sourced a perfect G Plan sideboard for us which we struggled to find elsewhere. The care and attention to detail is also very evident.
Absolutely delighted with my purchase. Emily was great to deal with and the whole process was very smooth. Can't recommend highly enough.
